GroupMe for BlackBerry Beta

That’s right, folks! We’re proud to announce the beta release of our BlackBerry app, just in time for the weekend. You can download and use it today, and it’ll be in App World officially next week.

Now, BlackBerry users can start and manage groups and share photos, just like on Android and iPhone. This version works on BlackBerries running OS 5.0 and up, with US numbers.

Starting a group is easier than ever, in three quick steps. First decide what the group is for (set the topic)…

…then when it should end (never, tomorrow, or after the weekend)…

…and finally who is in it (by selecting people right out of your BlackBerry contacts). 

Plus, you can finally share photos with all your groups. Choose a photo from your library or take one on the spot and send it to everyone.
